Does anyone know where I can get early 70's tom muffler that mounts on the inside of the tom with a felt pad? I was restoring my set and my son broke my old one!

is that a double pad with a tension knob and two mounting screws? i may have one that you can make work.

Hook or barrel for tightening... I hope picture shows up.

I pulled this one off the shelf but it is not correct. I think I have a small knob on there from an older double pad muffler.

What broke?? I do have some pieces around.

Jim,
That's the muffler i'm looking for. It broke the metal tongue like piece that the felt pad is attached to. Can you help me with that?
Thanks,

JIM,
That's the piece i'm lookin for. I only need the piece that has the felt pad attached if you have it. The hook and screw part are fine. Just let me know how I can get up with you.
Thanks for responding. I was worried I would never be able to hook up mwith someone who could help me!
Cool1
Thanks,
Jeff

That would be the single felt pad that is referenced on the picture that Jim provides on his thread.

I feel bad on this one... the one I pictured is intended for a project and I got MD's hopes up when he saw it.

Anybody else got the piece laying around??

I have a partial Rogers and couple old Japans but I'm not ready to part with that complete Slingy yet.

Two on ebay for $45.00 each... that seems high to me.. any opinions on that price??

Maybe a little high on the price, I have paid up to thirty bucks for one. I have one without the knob, I don't think you can get that hook off without destroying the flat metal piece with the felt attached.
