What Would You Do?

I recently purchased a 60's Ludwig set but the original owner switched the single tom mount to a double. Should I unscrew the double and try filling the holes up and find a single tom mount or should I just leave it how it is?

Pics? How bad is the damage? Which single mount are we talking about here. Was the origingal Ludwig? Rogers?.... Why did you buy a set that had issues you couldnt be satisfied with?

Yep... really depends on what you want out of it. If it was me I would try to put the set back to the way it was orginally built.

Sometimes that is easy to do.. sometimes not.

To the Ploughmans point... whatever you do, you have to live with it.

Sure there are some problems. But nothing huge.
