Hello again to all! You have been so helpful in reference to my other post about the value of my vintage Ludwigs....thanks so much. Ok now for the Slingy snare pictured here. Is it a 70's vintage Buddy Rich model? If so is it early 70's? It has the Niles badge with serial # 83036, it's 16 lug, maple inside, chrome outside, zoomatic strainer. I looked on ebay and did not even see one like it. Is it rare. What is it's approximate value?
Thanks again for your help!

Did you research the Slingerland History section (http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/drcjw/)? That will date the drum.
Yes, this is not something that comes up monthly on Ebay, but probably 3 - 6 per year in different finishes. They generally sell between $600 and $800.

Thanks very much David. I went to the Slingerland history section as you suggested and that also helped a lot. You guys are awesome!
