Earlier this year I picked up a Premier early 1960's kit, which came with loads of extras, in fact more cymbals than I needed.
There were 3 vintage Zildjians, and an 18" Paiste Stambul 65 (made in Switzerland), and after putting them through a good session I was surprised that the Paiste outshone the lot!!! Amazing brilliance!!!
I put the Z's on Ebay, and they paid for half the cost of the kit!
Has anyone out there got any views on which vintage cymbal is the best?
Cheers,
Phil. Keep on Pl

I THINK IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO WHAT SOUNDS BEST TO THE PERSON PLAYING THE CYMBAL. ONE MANS TRASH IS ANOTHER MANS TREASURE. Keep on Pl
