I am thinking of selling this kit,and someone told me I would come out better by selling the snare separate from the rest of the set.Is this good advice or would it be better to sell the set all together. Thanks

I'm not a collector, nor do I keep up with selling trends with this type of kit.
I do know that snare is the center piece to that kit and it would be a shame to break it up especially if it's original to the set. There's no question without the snare the set is not nearly as valuable. By itself it could bring good money depending on the shape. If your pricing includes what you'd expect for the snare separately I'd try selling the set as a whole. Just my 2 cents.
