Vistalite Supersensitive.. was that a production drum??

I saw a picture of Karen Carpenter playing what looked like a clear Vistalite drum with a Supersensitive strainer.

I just wondered if that was built for her or could be purchased off the shelf?

Any ideas?

Sure, I have seen more then a dozen of these drums. I had a chance at a green super many years ago...

Use any search engine and type in "Acrylic Drums" and you'll see dozens available for show and sale. If you're looking for Vistalites specifically, expect to pay a nice sum.

No kidding JR... seemed like a Vistalite Super Sensitive might be a fairly rare drum to run across dozens of them.. I must be looking in the wrong places.

I think there was a little confusion.... There are a lot of Vistalites for sale, but you do not see many Super's.

Over the years, they have come up.
