Here she is. I hope I don't get yelled at for messing with a vintage '67 Acro.
In my defense, the drum was stripped bare as purchased, and really, aren't
Acro's one of the most common drums out there?!?!?

FAR OUT Big Daddy... a flat stock highly polished over-sized plain brass keystone would look neat tucked under that grommet... I mean what the heck... it's still a Luddy at heart.

Thanks man!!
I guess since the shell, throw and butt are Ludwig, then heck... those little
tube lugs hardly matter at all. If I can find one of those badges, I *may* take your advice.

I think the snare looks great. Now if you would have done that to a perfectly good stock drum, you might get some flack. But, since it was a stripped drum I say go for it.

Thanks all - I could/would never take an original, vintage drum and do something like that to it. Would break my heart actually.
I *could* have tracked down the parts and brought it back to life as a plain 'ol Acro, but it wouldn't really be original in my eyes. The day someone stripped it and did whatever with all the parts, well that was the day it became a project drum.
