Extra piece of wrap from my current project epoxied on a Powertone shell with center section chrome hazing problems. Viola - new matching COB snare from my project kit with a bit extra color!

how did the wrap affect the sounds of the drum .........

Maybe tones down the overring just a bit. I am using a Remo Vintage A head and that may have something to do with the sound being different as well. Plenty of crack still.
