Late 60s, probalby around 1968-1970..
Are they for sale?, they are awesome!

big daddy!...
These were made by Meazzi in Italy. 60's vintage is correct. Meazzi is LONG out of business, but whenever one of these comes up, they always draw interest as they are just so... cool. I said it earlier, I'll say it again:
I want 'em!
I don't think they're for sale though as the poster, 123batterie never indicated as such. Regardless... Harrison, you would have to fight me for them! LOL!

Thanks for the info Tommy - Indeed, they look sweet. Just wondering what the "cool factor" is based on? Looking at the kit, I see a nice wrap, slick lugs, very cool bass drum claws and T-Rods, funky looking floor tom legs, etc...
What are the shells? Mahogany, maple???
How do they sound?
THanks again for all the info - I love learning something new about my favorite instrument!

Lol! Well Tommy, I'm stepping out of the ring early because I think I may

Well thank you, that's awfully nice. I'm also looking at a set of Revere drums which a board member is selling. So many drums... so little money :)

Probably too late on this, but I also own a set of these. I got them from a kid who didn't really know what he had, as well at the time I wasn't even sure what they were worth. I have the full set of drums, but missing pieces off the tympani tom and the bass drum to mount the rack tom...I have the original snare that I would love to refurbish, but I am in need of the original hoop for the bottom quick release setup.
Anybody help me out?
