I'm still in the market for one of these and have not found one in at least good condition. Nickel hardware.
I have a WMP/WFL compacto snare that sits in the unplayed category!

I don't what exactly what you need is, but I do have a 'Ludwig Classic' strainer - might be chromed though. Also, I don't know what the other parts of the whole Classic system look like. Can you show any links to samples & if it looks promising, I could send you pics. Do you need the butt, the 'wires' and all? I've got a box with a lot of vintage strainer parts & don't really know what's what.
I see also that there's a WFL Classic strainer on Ebay right now.

I have one I think - It's like a standard size Ludwig strainer. If you are still looking email me and I can take a picture. Also let me know how much you are willing to pay for it.
