Fibes hardware question

hi everybody, I'm new here and don't know anyone.
But have a question: was it normal for Fibes drums from the late 60's-early 70's to have a Rogers tom mounts?
Just bought what I was told is a late 60's Fibes(fibes/martin) chrome wraped kit and has a Rogers swivel matic double tom mount on it.
Doesn't appear that there was ever anything else on there.

Many of the earlier Fibes drums were sent out with Rogers tom mounts.
I'm not sure if they were shipped "Virgin" and the Rogers stuff was added at the drum store, if Fibes put the stuff on...

I was pretty sure the rogers stuff came on them.
I'm still cleaning them up and have to drill out 2 of the 4 screws on the swiv o matic mounts and replace the screws.

I wonder if anyone has attempted to re wrap a Fibes kit?
I don't know how easy the wraps would come off being attached to Fiberglass.
You would have to be extra careful with heat......
I'm also not sure if anyone makes the chrome type wraps??
Don't remember seeing them anywhere.

I wouldn't re-wrap them. Fibes can be hard to re-sell, and a re-wrapped set will be very hard to sell. (Eventually, it seems we always want to move a set we have...)
BTW, swiv o matic...

I wasn't seriously considering re wraping,I just wondered if anyone have ever attempted that with Fibes.
I usually have no problem selling any kit if the price is right.
I've sold 5 kits in the last 3 months.

Just bought the Fibes cause I heard that name alot many years ago and had to know what they sounded like. thanks for your input though...
oh yeah, I corrected the spelling too!
