These are truly beautiful and wonderful sounding drums. I have them at a jazz tuning now. I'll tune the toms down in due course. The bass drum is wide open. It's the biggest sounding 20" I've ever played. Very lively, resonant drums. The snare is an Oaklawn Tuxedo. If anyone ever sees this post and can get me in touch with a matching Aristocrat for a trade or outright purchase, let me know. If you see this 5 years from now, don't assume I got it. Contact me. Now I know why Camco prices are flying.

Enjoy,

Gary

It's Camco week all this week at VSD. Congratulations on the kit(s).

There was an Aristocrat LA COB snare out of Holland a couple of weeks back but it went. My friend in France still has those kits and there is one there but...I've given up. One of them is however a WMP LA so you could do all sorts of interesting extensions.

You're welcome to try if you're a patient man. Snare drum has a very interesting story - drop me a line to hear it.

Cheers,
David

I will keep a look out for one. I need a BDP Aristocrat floor tom so I know what you are going through. It's been 3 years so far with no luck.

There's a Camco kit on Craig's list in Los Angeles... I know very little about drums but maybe it some of the pieces you guys are looking for.
