[I like old drums]

my dad bought the kit new in '76 as the wierd kind with the third tom between the other two over the bass drum. in '77 he got a 15" tom and 8 and 10 inch concert toms of a slightly lighter color. This pic has the original 24" bass and 13" and 16" toms. The 15", 8", and 10" toms are in the picture.

and here's the rest of the kit. I had to drill 0 holes to convert the 18" tom to a bass drum and I, of course, have the original tension rods and triple flanged rims waiting to go back on it. The legs on the floor tom/bass drum came straight of my '65 kit. Just say no to drilling drums. That's my motto... well, that and I like old drums, I suppose.
The other drums are the 12 and 14 inch toms from the tri-tom mass of silliness. We still have the triple mount, but it's over at my dad's with his '67 Ludwigs. I have the '67 tom mount at his house. Sad story about the '67 kit. :(
