Hi Folks,
I just wanted to share my latest,...
It's what I believe to be an early 1960's Premier Royal Ace 4" model.
I only had to give it a soft cleaning.
One of the snares is bended but besides that, the drum is in pristine condition and sounds beautiful.
I paid 160,00 on Ebay Germany for it, I think I did well.

Hope you like it.

Good for you Stef. I'm happy I didn't steer you wrong!
Next look out for one of these... the finest aluminum shelled snare... IMHO, bar none! Ron

Thanks indeed for all the advice Ron,...
It was a nice surprise to find out the drum was in such an immaculate condition. The Ebay pictures were not good at all so I guess I got a bit of lucky on this one. I still have the BDP Royal Ace to clean up, I will post some pictures soon.
An aluminum Premier is indeed on my wish list. Those are not so hard to find over here in Europe for a soft price,...

Thanks John, a nice find indeed and I agree,... hardware wise, Premiers are amongst the best looking drums ever build.
Regarding the signature wallpaper,...
The weather has been horrible over here in Belgium the past days.
Poor lighting prevents me from taking pictures in front of my Turquoise 1970's wall.
So,.... waiting for a bit of sun.

I always gush a bit when I see a fine example of this drum....
I am enraptured by the Royal Ace snare drum, the styling of the hardware just "Does It" for me!!
Congratulations!!

Couldn't agree more Kev,...
For me the design and feel of this Royal Ace is on the same page as many of the early to mid 1960's era Great Britain stuff.
The Beatles, Twiggy, Scalextrics and of course the,..."sigh"... Jag E-type,...
