Mardi Gras Dyna-Sonic

This is a Rogers wood Dyna-Sonic snare drum in Mardi Gras finish and beavertail lugs from the mid 1960's.

Man, I gotta hand it to you. You are twice the man for owning this beast. This is my soft spot, the era, the finish, the condition. I bet it sounds amazing! the only thing that would kill me more is if it were a 6.5!!! I would have to weep. Great drum.

You know Issac, you sound like me. That is what I said I was going to try to find a 6 1/2" wood Dyna-Sonic in Mardi Gras! I guess it is my being naive, thinking I could find one - but I don't think anyone would have expected to have found a Mardi Gras Dyna-Sonic in Beavertails either! Let alone finding it in your our hometown!

I am with you, I really feel good about this and am enjoying the snare and the kit. It does sound really good to me and it looks killer too!
