I HAVE AN EARLY VALJE QUINTO 11 INCH IN PERFECT SHAPE. ANY IDEA OF ITS VALUE? ALSO, I AM A "VINTAGE CONGERO" THAT STUDIED UNDER PATATO VALDEZ HERBIE MANNS CONGA PLAYER AND I STILL LIKE TO PLAY MONGO AND R AND B. I LIKE TO SIT IN ON WEEKENDS JUST FOR FUN.

We have had a few Valje questions on the forum. These are very nice drums. Which finish is it?

My guess is $300 - $500 for that drum.

Maybe more if two players need one for their set.

I have always wanted to improve my skills on the congas!!

A set of them sold on Ebay for around $1000

I Have two Valje drums, 11" 12.5", made on sunset blvd at the 3312 address according to the decals on the hoops. I don't know what year they were made, but would love to own a third...light oak finish on mine.
