Probably what I should mention is the incredible sound this drum produces,... I defenitely have to make some decent sound files.

I must say that the repro snares from AK do miracles!

The most amazing thing is the variety in sounds it's able to produce,...

With only the bottom snares, the drum is loud and the brass shells resonates in the most spectacular way. Once the top-snares are also on, it produces a much shorter sound with a very "snary" touch to it. With only the top snares it becomes rather short and muted but still very interesting. Playing with the muffler and snare tension will create another range of possibilites,... all very exciting I must say !
