This WFL snare (1948-52), 6.5" by 14" with a 3-ply maple shell, has a white interior paint, but no time stamp. The hardware is all nickel-plated.

This snare is in very good shape for its age and has a crisp snappy sound (http://youtu.be/1NWos9O4HSs)to it! (Sold.)

I have investigated about the white inner painted shells (http://youtu.be/NsxfgjNaM9M) of older Ludwig snares, here is one interesting example from 1946 with timestamp on its inner shell.

Enjoy,
Fred

Cheers :)Hi, he bought the drum for 300 dollars. His name was Joseph.
I'm sorry, but I will not give out his last name.Violin Or, maybe it's you who is the owner : )

Anyway, this drum is so good that I could buy it back. But, I need space.
