Vintage Gretsch Snare

Hey All,

Just picked up this Snare and am trying to pin down it's year of manufacture.
Pretty sure its from the sixties but any additional info would be appreciated.

What is the interior and # of plies?

David, Thanks for the response. The shell has 6 plys (5 mil.) and is painted "Gretsch Silver" on the inside.

That is the so called "student model", with the last ply in mahogany finish.
Gretsch used always wrap finish and two other very limited finish (natural maple and some kinda dark walnut) on drumset and snares.
The "student model" was 6 plys, mahogany finish (or wrapped) and the classic throw off (not the microsensitive one).
