To the left is a "Rogers Dyna-sonic." 5" by 14", 70s, 10-lugs.

And on the right is a "Slingerland Sound King. (http://youtu.be/rEvhWzLM2MI)" (video.) 6.5" by 14" from the early 60s, 8-lugs.

most excellent ,what is that pink champagne base drum too ?Hi there, and thanks for watching.

The 6-ply Gretsch "Round Badge" bass drum in the background just happened to be there while I was taking the cob snares picture.

But, to answer your question, it goes with my two 8-ply "Rogers xp8" toms (http://youtu.be/rEvhWzLM2MI), size 14" and 15". (video.)

Here is a pic of my two big "Rogers" toms and the Louie Bellson & Big R Dyna snare.

Cheers,
Fred

So now, when I get into the mood to play, and I look at the same sparkling copper finish of my xp8 toms (http://youtu.be/rEvhWzLM2MI) (video.) and Gretsch bass drum, it reminds me of those days.

Again, thanks for watching,
Fred

Steve BYes, I also like my Spifire very much. It is my favorite snare. The other two of my snares are also nice to play of course!

Maybe you have a pic of your Spifire? Getting curious!
