76 Slingerland 2R Modern Solo in Maple Wood finish. Came to me pretty clean. Not really much to do but treat the shells to some nice wood cleaner and polish up the hardware, replace a few items, and skin it. It was a breeze to get up and running. Love the deep warm woody tone of this kit. Very nice, indeed.

This is my "dream" kit! I've been trying to put one like this together for what seems like FOREVER. I've got my all natural 3-ply maple BD and rack tom in extremely clean condition. However, thus far I've been unsuccessful in finding the matching floor tom in the same excellent condition at a reasonable price. The search continues!

Your kit is flat out stunning! I have no doubt that it sounds as good as it looks! Did you remove the tone controls from the toms or did the kit come without them?

I forgot to ask where you got the "large" Slingerland logo on your bass drum head. The one on mine isn't that big.

Those tone controls were AWOL when the kit arrived here. I picked up that large logo from eBay. I think he's the same guy who does the Ludwig ones, too.
