Hey, I just got a 16" Paiste stambul crash from ebay for $100. Cana nyone tell me about this series? Also, did I get a good deal?

Just got it... It has a weird splashy sorta sound, very thin.

The "Stambul" series were released in 1956 and made of nickel silver.

The "Stambul '65" series were released in 1965 and made of B8 alloy. Along with their Giant Beat series they were a forerunner to the 2002 series.
