black beauty

hello all, this is my first post here so be gentle.
i own a 20s era black beauty snare with all the usuals, sroll engraving, tube lugs, brass, etc. its in great shape and all, but heres the head scratcher.
ive seen lots of them 8lug and 10lug, but mine is a six lug, and have not seen one yet but mine, any ideas or info would help
