She is not all original, the throwoff is newer, the rims are off a project RK I have, the lugs are repros, and tension rods/washers I couldn't tell ya lol (I know the nylon ones aren't original though haha)
But still that finish is awesome and there are very few chips in it. Plus it was never drilled for a muffler. Pretty cool drum if ya ask me

Looks great! That is a really cool finish that you don't see too often. Being a geologist, I think I have a bit of a soft spot for it :).

First time I ever saw this finish was on some junior set up and I loved it. This drum was the first time I saw it on a full size snare where the finish wasn't yellowed and beat up. I had to have it. Eventually I will get everything perfect on it but for the time being I'm more than ok with it.

Holy crap, that's a nice one.... you see the toms and bass every now and then and an occasional snare, but never is the finish as nice as yours !!
