1929 Ludwig Peacock Pearl I
14X28 bass drum
5X14 New Era snare drum (dual internal snares)
The finish on this set is amazing. I don't believe an upgrade is possible.
The non-lighted bass drum features a factory painted calf head and an unmarked calf head.
The snare drum may have the factory batter head, it is hard to say for sure. It is signed by William F. Ludwig Jr. (signed as II). The resonant side head is an unmarked clear head. I did this so the dual internal snare mechanisms can be seen.
The hardware and accessories are original Ludwig.
The top cymbal is a 14" Zenjian and the bass drum side cymbal is an 11" Zildjian Constantinople.
I set this up as it was pictured in the 1929 catalog.
Thank you for checking it out.

Where did you get that set? (Beauty, btw)

I swear I remember seeing that exact model on sale in a store in Saskatoon, SK, Canada maybe 10 years ago....anywhere close?
