Click on the DONATE button to help with the expense of the recent website hack repairs. David worked long hours with his programmer to get VDF back up and running. This comes out of someone's pocket, and I feel we should share in the price of this great site. More than the default donation for me.

SO CLICK AND DONATE TODAY TO SAY "THANKS DAVE".

Not me. I'm saving my dough for a double double with cheese and bacon! Might even get me some rings if the mood strikes.

Excited

ok ... well ... after several tempered emails and one SuperFund disposition of a very questionable letter, and some serious cogitation and a bit of rumination ... maybe not.

Is there another option to make a donation besides using a computer to give out account numbers? The very reason for the existence of this particular thread is the reason why I won't donate electronically. I know they have security, firewalls etc. but those are all just words to me. I don't know enough about computers to feel confident in any of that stuff.

My hesistation is not meant to create a negative situation for the obvious elation of making a donation for the furthered continuation of this fine conegregation.

Thanks gents!!

I will be putting together a statement of account. I do not want anyone thinking I'm saving up for that vintage drum I have always wanted. :)

I have never publicly asked for money or wanted anyone to feel they need to donate to be part of the community.

For those of you that do it is a BIG help at the moment.

Hey Drumhack that is a reasonable question and I will contact my host to see if they do take a check. I would rather it go directly to them then pass through me.

I can't think of any other way besides cash in the mail :) or food stamps.

I will assign each person that donates money a number and then they will know who they are and everyone can see what is going on. I want to remain transparent when money is donated.

Thanks to each of you.

David

I usually trade all of my food stamps for bootleg DVD's and smokes so that option is out.........Falling Do

Thanks again everyone! We are close to hitting the mark and I really appreciate it. I will have the accounting up soon and a page set up for the results.

I have to say every time I log in now it is rather unsettling, very much like if your house is broken into.

Then yesterday the server hardware issue brought it down for the entire day.

I have been through all of this before with other servers, just a real pain in the left drum sack..... :)

Thanks to everyone AGAIN.. I normally send personal thank you emails, but this round I did not.

I finished the accounting for everyone that has donated.

It is a complete list of donations from 2008 when the server started and all of the expenses from that date as well.

There is no personal data, just a number assigned to each donation.

If you have donated and want to see the information, then send me a PM or email with your USER ID and paypal email address. i will then give you a link and your donation #.

Any donations in the past 2 days will not show up.

Thanks
