View Full Version : help identifying slingerland drums

hi this is my first post here. let me start by saying that i am not a drummer.. i hope i didnt loose anyone with that. heres my delema. my best friend is an active funk drummer and has been doin studio work and touring etc. for the last 20 years.. i was given these drums for some work i helped a buddy out with. i enjoy wood working etc so ive decided to re finish these for my friend. ive sanded and stained them.. they were brush painted psychadelic green!! i got all lugs etc together but am having trouble figureing out what exactly they are and i think i have the wrong collet for the bass drum, i think thats what you call it. and i dont know if this is the right tom mount arm. can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

heres the sizes
putting head size first

bass drum 24x14
rac tom 15x10
floor tom 16x16
floor tom 20x18 had a hard time finding 20" hoops!!
snare 14x4

Let me be the first to say that your friend is damn lucky to have a friend like you! Anyone that would throw a vintage Slingerland kit my way is one good friend.
