Hi everybody,

I just bought a 5 piece set that looks like its from the early/mid '60's and would like to identify it. It has blue round badges with "made in japan" and a five pointed star. That's it, nothing else. Who made this?

Thanks in advance,
STRONGBADF1

also had some "dynastar superior" stamped hihats with it. (can't find any info on these either)

Click Here (http://www.vintagesnaredrums.com/japanese_list_of_drums.html) for the badge and a little info on that kit. (7th badge down first row)

Thanks David,

Thats the badge. So they are "Made in Japan" brand then? I was wondering if they were an early "Tama" entry level kit because of the star on the badge...

another tidbit, the pedals have pro pedal cast in to the foot boards. I would assume that the hardware is probably generic and was used on many different brands. I saw a picture online of a vintage pearl kit and the lugs appeared to be identical...Hard to tell the picture was small.
