I have a guy wanting to sell me a Tama Royal Star kit. Now, I am a Ludwig guy and do not know too much about the Tama kits. I will try to upload a couple of pics.

Let me know if these pics help out.
I need to know app. what year they are and what material they are. I have done a little digging and found out that they may be a Mahogony 6 ply shell with some sort of composite 2 ply overlay on the inside of the shell. I could be wrong but, again, I don't know.
