Sweet looking rewrap of an old MIJ snare, nothing more. If it is the original, I would ask for further provenance of authenticity. These old wraps just don't fare this well. I have an entire kit in excellent condition and they are not this nice. This would be a Pearl stencil, judging by the lugs.

Thanks Jonni. Good point. I didn't even think of a possible re-wrap, but your right, the wrap does look pretty white. I was curious about the badge. Have not seen that one before.

I know the guy selling it. A little, anyway. I bought a Sling steel snare from him a few years ago. It's possibly my favorite snare right now. He has a whole house full of drum stuff just sitting around waiting to sell. I'll ask him if he knows the history of the drum.

I just got an email back and he says it's all original. Still on the pricey side for me but it is pretty.

Wow. It sure is in good shape for an original, but your right. 100$ is too high.
