Hello to all of you.Find this toms,named California Percussion,sizes are 12x11 and 13x12,all hardwer and depth is similar to older tama drums,interior is lacker finised,also nice outside finish.Any idea wht is this?Looks like some copies of Tama Rockstar to me.

This is a nice drum, no matter who or what it is. I would grab that shell, it is similar to a 6 ply Ludwig and would sound pretty good. I would strip it down, to bare shell on the outside and refinish to match your kits. The drilling pattern should be easy enough to match lugs to. If you have a 3 ply Ludwig, for instance and want a different sound in the 16" floor tom area, this will bring a great sounding tone that wil be very cannon like.

It probably is a Tama. Often companies will commission drum companies to make a series just for them for a promotion of some sort. It's a very common practice.

I agree that they really look like a Tama late era stencil and must be a very limited run because I have never heard or seen of that California stencil brand. MIJ means just that- a drum made in Japan- even super fine Canopus are MIJ and the ultra high end Yamaha, Pearl and Tamas are still produced here one by one. MIJ can also mean extreme quality sometimes.
