I have a Tama Artstar kit that I bought brand new in 1983 and I am interested in selling it. The finish is Cordia and it consists of a 22" bass drum, 14" X 8" snare (also cordia finish), mounted toms in 13" and 14" sizes as well as two floor toms - 16" and 18".

I really have no idea what it is worth. Any suggestions, or anyone want to make an offer? I would be very happy just to know what it might be worth.

It is in very good condition. All the heads are brand new.

Thanks!

Just a guess but it will have a limited audience due to the huge mounted toms, but the condition and that snare drum are the selling features.Drums only...12-1500

Wow...what a nice looking kit! The finish is amazing, hope it is 100% original. Asfor the value, like wayne say, the power tom sizes will limit your available buying public, but man, in that condition, you will get all the money. ebay is likely your best shot with a kit like this, or consignment at a music store, as long as you settle the percentage upfront. I would set it at a similar amount to what it would cost to ebay it, if you can. If you do ebay it, the shipping will be high, and make sure the buyer knows up front it will not be cheap to ship them.
Really nice example. Please post a good front on shot in the gallery.

I've also got one of these kits, and would love to have a matching snare drum. The most beautiful drums that TAMA ever made, and they sound as good as they look! If you'd consider parting out the snare drum, I'd definitely be interested.
