info on slingerland drum

hi,hope someone could tell me somthing about my slingerland drum i have only one picture of it but i know nothing about it,any contributions would be much appreciated. It,s size is 14/6.5.

It would appear that you have a chrome-plated brass Sound King Model #133, 10-lug 6.5x14, made sometime after the middle of 1974. The strainer on your drum is a non-Slingerland retrofit; the original strainer would have been a Slingerland Zoomatic. Your hoops are chrome-plated steel, and there should be a tone control (or at least the shell holes for it) directly across the drum from the badge. A nice performer and a relatively popular Slingerland workhorse brass snare drum in the 1970s.
