I recently purchased a BOSTON Made in Japan kit and have tried 'google-ing' it, but have not found any information. Anyone know who made this kit/what it's worth, etc?

Drum Shell Material: Wood, gray in colour - unsure of ply
Drum Finish: Looks like a white Pearl type of wrap
Drum Badge: Rectangle - BOSTON - The World's Finest - Made in Japan
Drum Dimensions: 20" odd-size kick, what looks to be a 10 and-a-bit" tom, 11 and-a-bit" tom, 16" floor tom
Interior Finish: Natural, gray in colour
Hardware Configuration: Metal Hoops, floor tom has 3 legs, toms have a slot/slide-mount

Thanks.

Is it just me or do those lugs look like ajax lugs? I know its a long shot but maybe boosey and hawkes had a company in japan before Ajax.

Those lugs I have seen on some U.S.Mercury kits. That was their sonor rip-off so to speak.Judging from the name and over-all look of the kit its yet another stencil kit.Doesn't seem to be anything exciting and or rare about the kit.But if you can take take a few photos of the inside of the kit as well as the three drums shells in whole.
