To those ludwig experts... can someone kindly identify this pedal? Im going to buy it but Im really not sure what model this is? help kind sirs...

is this vintage? how long does it it take for a drum item to be considered vintage???

I would have to say that the pedal is not all that vintage yet. It definitely came after the "speed king" pedal and I see that it is chain driven which is also a clue that it probably came in somewhere around the 80's or sooner.

Im pretty sure that is a Ludwig "Standard" foot pedal circa 1968-71.

Don't think the Standards had a chain drive...looks like a modern pedal.
