A few months ago there was a snare and a rack tom (12?) on EBay- beautiful. And alot less than 1300$ Love it- really sweet artistry

I would love to have one of those. And I have bought from this seller before, good guy, good to deal with.

That snare sold a few months ago for around $600. I was SICK that I didn't get it, in fact I've told my wife a few times that I wished I had. But knowing what it went for and what he's asking for it, I just can't pull the trigger on it.

Gone Drumming didn't that snare we are talking about have a few cracks in the wrap? 600$ can buy alot of cheese pizza- 1,300$ in this economy is big bucks indeed. My wife is also helpful for drum hunting- she says to me " just wait, it'll turn up again" They are wise- but I always want it nowHurting

I'm almost 100% positive that is the one. He also has an COB Krupa (3 point with gates) listed that he got for $120. I was sitting here on a Sunday morning drinking my coffee and did my ebay search and there it was, I was so stunned that it was there for that price that I hesitated for literally 2 mins before I the buy it now button....when I did it said the item is no longer available. Ruined a few of my days with that one.

Coolest snare you've ever seen.....mmmmmm sorry guys but I think it actually looks really crappy, like really cheap, probably sounds great...thats just my opinion. Thought I'd put a different slant on things.

It's believed that these were salesmans samples that they carried around, all I have seen with regards to a kit is a tom.

Do you guys really think its worth that kind of money? 1300 seems so steep to me, but it hasn't stopped me from really considering getting it haha

You definitely don't see a snare like that everyday in the local music or pawn shop. The price is high, but sometimes if that little voice inside says I really want that and you can afford to do so, then why not.
Just my opinion though.

No. It's not worth that money to me. BUT ... to someone who's looking for that cool salesman special ... well ... pony up the dough! Nice and cool. I like it.

Im really debating it but I would have to sell another snare to finance part of it for sure tho. And also it looks like someone messed with the badge grommet. If you look closely it has a few cracks. Hmmm
