I hope you are looking at the lugs. The bass drum and tom are towers and the snare is a 6 lug snare. Nothing wrong with the 6 lug luxor snare (played a few that were killer), but, this was considered a "student model". The floor tom is a Holiday, pro line, but, that was added later. This is not a good deal. I bet the drums sound great, but, $999 is crazy high.

Good to know, saw the Luxor had 6 lugs but they aren't B&B. Didn't think
any of the lugs on the kit were before '64 and B&B...

What I was trying to point out, was the single lug set up on the bass drum and rack tom. Again, pointing out that this kit (other than the floor tom) were considered a student model.

Also, this seller has a listing on Craigslist for $800. Saves ya $200 right there.

Gas $ might be over 200 bucks though to get there from Portland to pick it up, :D

It's the same person selling the same kit on both ebay and craigslist. I do not know why there's an offer for local pick up only on the ebay for $200 more than his/her offer on Craigslist. Another sign that this is not a good deal.
