I recently saw a set of Slingerland Radio Kings with Wood Hoops(the same as Rolling Bomber's) Was this common?
Of course, I am also in the market for a set of Rolling Bomber's and/or Radio kings with Wood rims. Also a rolling Bomber 14 x 7 snare drum is on my list.
Any information or leads about individuals selling would be greatly appreciated!

Slingerland did ship drums with wood hoops all the way into the late 60's and 70's. They were mostly marching drums. I just traded mine away to Mikey. They were very nice drums and wood hoops. Cool sounds.
