I will take some detailed photos tonight, but here's one for now. 12x8, 16x14, 22x16 Wood Hoop Ayotte Custom from 2001 (original owner), in African Walnut Satin. I bought 2 extra tom brackets in order to change the 16" to a non-mounted tom soon after original purchase.
It's a killer kit, just looking for a different sound. I'd love to have my first vintage Gretsch (round badge preferably) or as I do a lot of recording work, a nice Yamaha Recording Custom. Anyone interested?
The kit would come with protechtor cases. There are a few very minor scratches but I've babied this kit for the nearly 10 years i've owned it.

Beautiful! This is a very nice looking Ayotte......especially with the Keplinger snare....just perfect!
PS - If you ever want to consider a nice Slingerland kit(plus cash) let me know....thought it wouldn't hurt to ask, haha!
...I've gotta say it again.......NICE:D

Ive got a beautiful 50s RB Gretsch in Midnight Pearl that you may be interested in. The sizes are 20, 13, 16. They are the 50s 3 ply - no extra holes wrap is in incredible shape. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks

Would you be interested in a 60's Ludwig blue oyster pearl kit?

I've got a Yamaha Recording Custom kit from the early 1980's. I think they first came out in 1979. 16x22, 8x12, 9x13, 16x16, in cherry, no snare. Most of the RCs from that era were power tom sizes but this kit has the traditional sizes. The finish is not the best with nicks and scratches here and there and the 8x12 has some snare rash. I would be more than happy to work out a deal with you but honestly I would need to include some cash. Think of this kit as a well worn Stratocaster, road worn but sounds fantastic. They have been used mostly in my studio and sound the best out of all my kits (17 of them) including vintage Cleveland Rogers, '61 Ludwig 3 ply, and a 2001 Fibes kit with Jasper shells. I'm ready to try something else and the Ayotte looks interesting. Let me know if you are interested and I'll post some pictures so you can see them.

Win,win for both of us. Chris wanted a Recording Custom (who wouldn't) kit and I was looking for a new sound. The Ayottes have a vintage vibe and a classic sound. The RC's have a classic sound just a different classic sound made famous by Steve Gadd. I think both sets are going into recording studios. Thanks Chris, it was a pleasure trading equipment with you.
