Wow, this beauty came into my posession last week, cleaned it up, lubed it, tuned it & she's ready to go !!!! Beautiful wrap condition, hardware is clean, little to no rust, original heads, still sounds Great !!!
The shells are painted Luan, no re-rings, the bearing edges are fantastic, great sounding. The snare looks exactly like a Slingerland snare !!!

The Silvertones are also cool drums, well built, I had a Blue Sparkle set not too long ago, really nice 20 bass, 12 and 14 toms.

It`s a classic and a keeper you have there. Just wait, it`s value will increase I believe.
STAR drums (= the original drum manufacturer of these beauties) at it's best!

Seems to me I saw them in a C/L listing, but maybe not. I frequently search other listings, MAybe he had them on ebay and had a high opener, I know I saw them somewhere, as they just don't come that complete anymore, and that nice. Those are brilliant. What do you want for them?

Sorry, those are gone, they went pretty fast. They are one of the finest examples of MIJ template kits that I ever owned.

These were never listed on CL. I bought them from the original owner. He was a kid when his dad bought them for him. He really took good care of them, was also sad to see them go. His dad was a musician as well.

You're in the ball park.
I also have a stewart kit...I think it's older than yours... the toms are atached with an old sliding system
It's not in a very good shape but I played with it for the last year...sounds not so bad!
does it have a value, because I just baught a new kit and I want to sell it
i'm from montreal area too!

Please post some good quality pictures of these. They coulde be worth as much as 300CDN, but not so much USD. These are my forte, so show me the interiors, and the mounts, lugs and snre strainer. I need to see all of this to age and value the kit.
