Im debating whether or not to buy this older pearl snare. It has the older pearl badge with the Red P ontop of the hole. It says its mahogahny and is all original. How would you guys describe this snares tone? Im looking for, i guess, a supraphonic-type sound--just nice rockn roll tone you know? Those supraphonic are just way out of my price range so I decided to look at alternatives. Thanks for any input!
