I just acquired a set of Tama Fibrestar with 22" Bass drum, floor tom, & 2 toms & a Slingerland wood snare. They are in good condition. From what little info I have been able to find I believe thay are 1977 model. Does anyone have idea of value? New to drumming.

You dont want those!!!....I,ll give you a shiney silver dollar for them though just to do you a favor!!.......Seriously,hang on to them until YOU have a clear understanding what the value is.Dont listen to the guys who say "thier not worth much"

listen 2 this wise man and keep it in safe hands and btw the tama fibre star didnt star untill 1978 so its impossible 2 be a 1977 because i belive that the first ever Fibre star drum kit was made for Simon phillips (drummer for the recent toto band line up)in tokyo back in 1978 :)

Those are great drums and I believe 78 was the first year of production as well. They also share the same hardware and lugs as Superstars and Imperialstar drums.Welcome to the forum.

Impossible to accurately put a value on those without CLEAR photos(ie.not cell phone) as well as sizes.Fiberstar drums sound great, but in this market, will not sell for near of what their true value is.
