Baby Dodds Tom Tom Sticker

For those of you who had been wondering what the sticker on Baby Dodds’ Tom Tom read, I think this solves the mystery. Baby lived in Chicago for a long time, so judging by the photo I have enlarged I’m pretty certain that the sticker reads “Frank’s Drum Shop”. There was the same sticker on his other Tom too.

Does anybody remember seeing a Frank’s sticker on other drum stuff through the years?

I have seen them on later years, 60's and 70's, I use to take lessons there in the later 70's.

Hey Lucky - At the time you saw them, did they still look like the ones on Dodds’ Toms?

No, not like that. They were a black foil, I think! I think someone on this forum posted some pics of a Slingerland kit that had Franks drum shop stickers on it.
