I found a neat little set of Slingerlands today in a small shop, it only had the bass drum and one mounted tom, the floor tom is no where to be found. Here are the details:

Slingerland:

20" Bass Drum: Serial #:190465
12" Mounted Tom: Serial #: 178306

I wish the floor tom was there but it isn't. It had a very interesting tom mount, not sure if it was original or not. It looked as old as the set, not updated and it was a ball type that had an arm off of it that went to the tom. Did Slingerland ever offer that??

Can someone shed some light as to what these are and how old they are?? Also, what would those two drums be worth?? On a scale of 1-10, I would give these a 6 or 7 at best.

Thanks for any and all help on this one.

Rich

Go to the badge timeline in the Slingerland section of the Drum Guide. Find your badge.
Then to the serial number guide to find the year. You will see that the serial numbers reset in 1970, but different badges were used, so it's important you have the badge style correct.
Then look in the Drumset section i.... try to find the drums you have seen.
That will help narrow things down quite a bit, and a better answer can be given to your question.
Thanks

No, I am not in OKC. Can anyone shed any light as to what they may be worth?? Based on the time lines I am dating these as 65/66. Like I said, only the bass and the tom...what should I offer the guy?? Give me some direction on this one.
