Man i wish Youtube was around when i started playing wayback when. In order to learn this stuff you either had to pay for lessons or listen to the song closely and try and replicate it.

I always wondered about this fill. My mind always defaulted to the Gadd 3-stroke ruff, but I know that's incorrect. JB plays nearly the exact same fill in "Night Flight" from Physical Graffiti.

There's a special feeling that comes from decoding something yourself, be it a Bonham fill or chord inversion. IMHO! But thanks, this is cool.

Seems pretty simple to me....its a triplet as shown by Carmine Appice......where do you think Bonham got it from?....Check out this link:
