I know it's hardly Vintage but...
I have a Pearl World Series snare form the mid 80s that has two busted lugs (mounting screw collar/holes are broken off)... I haven't been able to find replacements anywhere...
It's a 6.5x14" Steel 10-lug snare...
Thought maybe somebody here might have some insight.
I'll post pics later today... maybe if somebody has a lead on parts, I'm trying to get this up and running inexpensively. I might be able to trade for Slingerland or Lugwig lugs/hardware I have kicking around.
Cheers,
David

I realize you want to keep it original, but you might want to find a doofer until the real deal comes along. At least you could play the thing. So, post the hole to hole measurements and maybe we can come up with a sub.

I just scored a '86 Pearl WLX that I rehabbed from the rubble and it came with a 6.5x14" 10 lug seamless steel snare drum. Great drum. Completely torn down and hand polished. I slapped on new heads and a Pearl D1420 20 strand wireset. Sounds awesome!Walking

Pix of the snare, or at least one of the lugs...? I may have one.
Nice snare, Les!
