trying to findout what year gretsch snare

Hi I'm trying to findout what year is this gretsch snare drum. Any help is greatly appeciatly I know is from the 70's. 678

Looks like the 1980-81's I have. I think they only made Stopsign badges with 'Drum makers since 1883' badges like that with the "G" from "Gretsch" dropping down during late '80-'81. and they have the same label inside. i relpied on a different post you made as well. wanted to make sure you saw it. if you email Gretsch, they will send you a form letter that has a description of how to date your drums based on badge style

"BADGE # 5 Early 1981

A short return to the octagon badge.

This time the brass badge was redesigned with the GRETSCH logo in the drop “G” font above the grommet. U.S.A. appeared to the right of the grommet and DRUM MAKERS SINCE 1983 was at the bottom of this badge in block letters."
